First Night
Disabled skiing takes many forms and is often referred to under the banner of adaptive skiing.
Ski-Abilities aim is to get everyone skiing regardless of their disability.

The ski session is from 7 to 8pm every Monday. It’s recommended you arrive from 6.45pm to facilitate fitting of skis, etc.

What to Expect.

On arrival your needs will be assessed and any specialist equipment you require will be provided. Ideally we offer one to one instruction, but this depends on the amount of volunteers available and may not always be possible.
What to Bring
Image of ski gloves Gloves. It is a policy of the ski slope that all skiers must wear gloves. If you forget them Ski-Ability keeps gloves you may borrow for the night.

Ski Helmets. Ski-Ability promotes safety and recommends skiers, particularly those using sit skis, wear safety helmets. For children under 17 years of age, Ski-Ability have adopted a policy that they all wear helmets. A variety of helmets are available for loan each evening, courtesy of Children In Need.
